Story Synopsis

“If I could with honor change the circumstances of my life, I would do it with pleasure.”
It was Lucina’s greatest regret in a previous life. Yet even as the universe gave her another chance, the world decided to ruin it.
Her family had been destroyed by war. Her life had sank into the pits of despair. There was no future for a girl like her.
Until she met a deposed young nobleman who shared her circumstances.
The country had entered a pivotal moment in history. Fractured by internal disputes, Polisia found itself unprepared for the rising scourge from the east. Yet, even as turmoil and mayhem descended upon the realm, the meeting of these two lives would also open the gates of opportunity for both.
Neither could have guessed how a single chance encounter would change both of them, or the history of their nation.
[Note: this story is currently on hold. Eve was originally written to replace Daybreak, and as such the two stories share many of the same themes. However since Daybreak has been revived, I’m still deciding on how to modify Eve so it has a different role in the stories I write.]
