Hello everyone,
I wanted to make a quick post here, as you might have noticed that recent updates have significantly slowed down. And if you left comments — sorry it’s taking me a while to get to them. I’m thankful for everyone who comment regularly to support me and I still read every one of them. It’s just taking me longer than usual.
For those of you active in the Daybreak Discord, you’ll know I’ve been rather stressed out recently. This is due to a combination of being super busy at work, as well as doing some interviews as I’m looking to take the next step in my career. Interview processes are stressful for everyone, especially for an introvert like me. And as a result, I haven’t been in the mental zone to write as much — in fact I had a bit of a writer’s block for most of June. Nor have I been as keen to interact.
The good news is that I’ve gotten past the worst of it. I’ve started making progress on writing again recently, though it might take a while before it’s out due to the time my beta-reading pipeline normally takes. The bad news is that things aren’t settled yet for my work or career, so the slowdown will continue for at least a few weeks longer.
